Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Oversee the performance, growth and sales efforts of 15-17 retail branch locations within an assigned region.
  • Coach and develop a team of Branch Managers to drive consistent performance and operational excellence across all branches.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing culture focused on accountability, associate engagement, recognition and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure branch associates are actively engaged in Small Business and Consumer deposit growth activities, including lead execution, proactive outreach, and community engagement.
  • Closely monitor sales metrics (productivity, deposit growth, client acquisition, cross sell performance, and revenue growth) and take action to sustain or improve results.
  • Conduct regular branch visits to observe behaviors, coach leaders, and support development of branch associates to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and wallet share growth.
  • Support swift remediation of customer concerns, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
  • Assist Branch Manager in developing and maintaining centers of influence to increase quality referrals and build robust consumer, mortgage, and SMB loan and deposit pipelines.
  • Establish and manage branch to branch objectives, goals, and detailed sales/service action plans necessary for achieving regional performance targets
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, direction, and succession planning for all associates within the region.
  • Promote a customer centric culture across all branches, ensuring exceptional experiences that exceed client expectations.
  • Control expenses and attrition while maximizing revenue opportunities throughout the region.
  • Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for Branch Managers and review evaluations for branch associates, including salary recommendations.
  • Lead the recruiting and hiring of branch associates; identify and develop high potential talent.
  • Ensure the region meets all Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) service obligations.
  • Strengthen collaboration and alignment across business lines to support holistic client financial needs and maximize market opportunity.
