APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, and maintain Linux-based applications for embedded cryptographic systems. Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment. Develop secure, high-performance applications for embedded Linux environments. Collaborate with hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams to integrate software solutions into advanced platforms. Troubleshoot and debug complex software and embedded system issues. Develop and implement innovative technical solutions while adhering to software engineering standards and best practices. Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to software architectures and development processes. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. 5+ years of experience developing software applications for Linux-based platforms. 3+ years of experience developing embedded Linux applications. 3+ years of experience with software architecture, design, development, debugging, and integration activities. What Sets You Apart: Experience working within Agile software development environments. Experience developing and supporting secure software solutions. Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies, coding standards, and development best practices. Experience developing Linux applications for embedded systems. Strong embedded Linux debugging and troubleshooting expertise. Experience designing high-performance software solutions with minimal oversight. Experience with Xilinx technologies including Vitis, Petalinux, Zynq UltraScale+, or Versal platforms. Experience supporting Software Defined Radio (SDR) or satellite-based applications. Knowledge of Secure Red/Black Separation architectures and secure communications systems. Experience using Docker, Podman, or other containerization technologies within Linux environments. Experience with Wind River Linux or similar embedded operating systems. Strong technical leadership skills and ability to mentor others. Passion for technology innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve software quality and engineering productivity. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen. Overtime: May be required based on project schedules and business demands.
