Presentation Designer

We are seeking a talented Presentation Designer to develop a polished, modern presentation template for an upcoming user conference and then apply that system across approximately 15-20 presentation decks. This role is ideal for a designer with strong brand and presentation design experience who can create presentations that feel thoughtfully designed and elevated rather than like traditional PowerPoint decks.

The designer will work within an established brand system, incorporating existing colors, typography, imagery, and visual guidelines while bringing a strong point of view to the overall presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a custom presentation template for an upcoming user conference.
• Create a cohesive visual system that can be applied across approximately 15-20 decks.
• Design both minimal, elegant conference presentations featuring strong imagery, titles, and limited content, as well as more detailed decks for educational/CLE sessions.
• Translate existing brand guidelines into compelling presentation layouts, typography, imagery, charts, and data visualizations.
• Build presentations primarily in Google Slides, with the ability to translate and deliver final presentations in PowerPoint.
• Clean up, format, and elevate presentation content provided by internal teams.
• Conceptualize, create, and/or source high-quality imagery and visual assets.
• Develop thoughtful charts and data visualizations that make complex information easy to understand.
• Maintain consistency across multiple decks while adapting layouts to different types of content.
• Collaborate closely with the internal marketing/design team and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Support additional event-related design needs as project volume fluctuates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in presentation design and brand design.
• Strong modern, minimal, and sophisticated design sensibility.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality presentation/deck design.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand systems.
• Experience creating effective charts, graphs, and data visualizations.
• Ability to work with existing brand guidelines while also bringing creative thinking to the design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple decks and deadlines.
• Comfortable taking content from internal teams and transforming it into polished, presentation-ready designs.
• Broader graphic design capabilities are a plus, particularly for event and conference-related work.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a designer first, not simply a PowerPoint production specialist. They have a strong eye for modern visual design and can take a basic set of content and turn it into a presentation that feels cohesive, elegant, and highly intentional. Experience designing for conferences, events, technology companies, or professional audiences is a plus.
