Position Title: Warehouse Manager Business Unit: MAAG Gala Inc. Reports To: Director of Operations Position Location : Eagle Rock, VA Position Type: Full-time Leadership responsibility: Yes Main position objectives The Warehouse Manager completes various management, organization, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse's inventory, receiving and shipping processes. In addition, the Warehouse Manager leads their team by setting productivity and accuracy goals, setting up logical organization systems and by creating communication systems within the organization. The core function of the Inventory Manager is to drive daily engagement and accountability in continuous improvement by implementing 5S, Problem Solving, Standard Work and driving a kaizen culture where team members are involved and engaged in improving their own work areas. Work Environment Work in this position is in a factory floor environment. While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
