What You'll Do:



  • Prepare outgoing products and materials for shipment according to established shipping procedures and work instructions.
  • Count, weigh, and verify outgoing shipments to ensure orders are accurate before they leave the facility.
  • Identify and report shortages, damaged products, or other shipment concerns.
  • Package, strap, weigh, and label products for safe and accurate shipment.
  • Load trucks and containers using floor-loading methods or a forklift based on shipment requirements.
  • Operate internal computer systems to check product status, track shipments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Work from purchase orders, computer-generated information, shipping procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Maintain daily shipping, production, and material movement records as required.
  • Identify and report faulty equipment, damaged materials, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse area.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and Pelican quality standards.


What We're Looking For:



  • 1-2 years of shipping experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience preparing, packaging, and loading products for shipment.
  • Ability to accurately count, weigh, label, and verify outgoing materials.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using internal systems to track products and maintain shipping records.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Forklift experience preferred; must be able to obtain Pelican forklift certification during the initial trial period.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping orders accurately and safely.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm Eastern Time



Additinal Information:



  • This is an onsite position in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
  • Flexibility with working hours and overtime is required based on shipping and business needs.
  • Overtime may include evenings and weekends, with or without advance notice.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
