The America's Talent Acquisition Manager will be based in Houston, TX and bring a builder's mindset to advance our Talent Acquisition maturity model. This role will lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior and Principal Talent Acquisition Consultants supporting North America, Latin America, and South America, while partnering closely with business leaders, Global and Regional HR Business Partners, and other HR functions in a matrixed environment. Reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Director, the manager will provide consultative talent solutions, strengthen team capability and accountability, and maintain a small requisition load to stay connected to the business and model effective recruiting practices. Your Impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, providing ongoing guidance, feedback, prioritization support, and development opportunities.
  • Manage a small requisition load as needed, serving as a hands-on player-coach who models strong sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, compensation partnership, mobility support, and pipeline development.
  • Partner with senior leaders in the business and colleagues within HR to further enhance and develop our future talent pipelines.
  • Cultivate a network of relationships inside and outside the organization, feeding back intelligence and insight to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and communicate recommendations to hiring managers based on knowledge of the markets, candidates, and talent strategies.
  • Set clear expectations for team performance, stakeholder partnership, candidate experience, and recruiting discipline across the Americas region.
  • Champion continuous improvement by coaching the team through process changes, driving adoption of scalable recruiting practices, and creating a more efficient experience for recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates.
  • In partnership with HR Business Partners, Talent Management and the business leaders, support short- and long-term hiring strategies to balance "build vs. buy," succession, and internal mobility.
  • Help mature the sourcer/recruiter model by clarifying roles, improving collaboration, and enabling the team to scale Americas talent acquisition delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive our branding efforts externally.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 8+ years of recruitment experience with proven expertise in recruiting solutions, strong operational focus, utilizing data to influence, talent mapping, and direct sourcing.
  • Prior leadership experience required. Prior experience in managing geographically dispersed teams highly preferred.
  • Strong operational experience in various talent acquisition principles: cost per hire, compa ratio, hiring budgets, geographic hiring strategies, etc.
  • Demonstrated results in a matrix environment, self-resourcing and developing creative solutions to solve problems.

Work Location:
AspenTech has a global hybrid workplace for most of our roles. Employees are expected to work in the office 4 days per week and may work remotely 1 day per week, unless the employee has a reasonable accommodation or other approved exception to the hybrid workplace schedule. This role follows our 4-1 hybrid model and is based in our Houston, TX office.
