SOCOM

Job Description

The RealmOne Growth team is seeking an Account Manager to deliver innovative solutions to our customers in the SOCOM and related DoW accounts. With the tagline "Force Multiplied," we are on a mission to amplify outcomes alongside our exceptional teams and valued customers.

Job Description:

  • RealmOne is seeking a SOCOM Account Manager to serve as the company's primary customer-facing growth representative across U.S. Special Operations Command and other priority Department of War accounts. This individual will be the front door for RealmOne's capabilities; developing trusted customer relationships, identifying mission and technology gaps, and connecting those needs to RealmOne Foundry technologies, research and development, technical capabilities, and delivery expertise.
  • The Account Manager will lead early customer engagement and technology insertion activities, mature opportunities before formal solicitations, and transition qualified opportunities into RealmOne's formal capture process. Success requires credibility with operational and acquisition customers, sufficient technical familiarity to translate mission problems into solution concepts, and the ability to coordinate across Growth, Foundry, Delivery, and external industry partners.

The SOCOM Account Manager shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Own and develop customer relationships across USSOCOM, SOF Components, and priority DoW accounts.
  • Serve as the front door for RealmOne capabilities, technologies, products, and mission expertise.
  • Identify customer mission needs, operational pain points, capability gaps, and emerging technology requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable requirements for RealmOne Foundry, R&D, technical, and delivery teams.
  • Coordinate customer demonstrations, prototypes, pilots, technical exchanges, exercises, and operational evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain the SOCOM account growth plan, customer-engagement plan, and qualified opportunity pipeline.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape opportunities before the release of formal solicitations.
  • Identify appropriate acquisition pathways and contract vehicles, including existing IDIQs, OTAs, CSOs, rapid prototyping pathways, and traditional FAR-based acquisitions.
  • Develop customer-sponsored pathways that transition successful demonstrations and prototypes into funded contracts or programs.
  • Transition mature opportunities into formal capture and support capture teams with customer intelligence, requirements, acquisition strategy, partner positioning, and win themes.
  • Coordinate effectively across Growth, Foundry, Delivery, Contracts, Pricing, and executive leadership.
  • Identify and develop strategic relationships with prime contractors, small businesses, nontraditional contractors, and technology companies.
  • Identify new subcontracting opportunities and position RealmOne's capabilities with prospective prime contractors.
  • Support teaming strategies and the development of NDAs, teaming agreements, workshare approaches, and partner engagement plans.
  • Inform RealmOne's technology-partnership and investment priorities based on customer mission demand.
  • Track customer priorities, budgets, leadership changes, organizational developments, acquisition strategies, and upcoming procurements.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, customer-engagement, pipeline, and forecasting information in RealmOne's CRM.
  • Represent RealmOne at customer engagements, industry events, technology demonstrations, exercises, and relevant conferences.
  • Drive technology insertion, account expansion, qualified pipeline, and new revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Prior service in the United States Armed Forces is required.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in military operations, DoD business development, account management, customer engagement, capture, acquisition, requirements development, or program management.
  • Experience supporting or engaging USSOCOM, a SOF Component, a Theater Special Operations Command, USASOC organizations, or other priority DoW customers.
  • Working familiarity with one or more of RealmOne's core capability areas, including radio frequency technologies, SIGINT, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, and cyber network operations.
  • Ability to conduct credible mission and technical discovery conversations with operators, analysts, engineers, program managers, and acquisition professionals.
  • Understanding of DoW budgeting, requirements, acquisition, contracting, and technology-transition processes.
  • Experience identifying and developing teaming relationships and new subcontracting opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with government customers and industry partners.
  • Ability to translate operational problems into clear capability needs, demonstration concepts, and potential acquisition pathways.
  • Strong written, verbal, briefing, and executive-communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and customer relationship management tools to manage customer activity, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior military service within the Special Operations community or direct experience supporting SOF missions.
  • Existing relationships across USSOCOM headquarters, SOF Components, USASOC, JSOC, SOF AT&L, Program Executive Offices, SOFWERX, or operational units.
  • Experience developing and executing technology-partnership strategies with defense-technology companies, nontraditional contractors, laboratories, or research organizations.
  • Experience coordinating technology demonstrations, prototypes, operational exercises, pilots, or user evaluations.
  • Experience moving an opportunity from an identified mission gap through demonstration, funding, contract award, and operational adoption.
  • Experience with OTAs, CSOs, SOFWERX, Vulcan, DIU, SBIR/STTR, rapid acquisition authorities, and traditional FAR-based contracting.
  • Experience standing up or expanding a new account, market, or customer portfolio.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering, national security, or business-related field.
