The Safety and PI Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the performance improvement/risk management activities at the direction of the PI/RM Director. This position assists in meeting the requirements of all regulatory agencies, TJC, CMS and state and federal agencies, including collecting data as required by each agency and for any corrective actions. This includes collecting data and analysis as required by TJC, investigating and reporting AHCCCS Incident, Accident, Death reports, Seclusion and Restraint reports to contractors, monthly fall reports, and managing the process for lost patient belongings. This role will also be the community liaison ensuring compliance and strong relations with all governing bodies. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Experience: 1+ years experience with quality assurance, performance improvement, safety, and reporting/data analysis within a hospital setting. Experience with TJC, CMS and state/federal governing agencies. Additional Requirements: Must have or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
