The Event Manager II is the primary client point of contact for assigned meetings and events onsite at the client's campus. Manages meetings and events through the implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics, while effectively working with clients. Responsible for coordination of all program planning, while providing unparalleled levels of customer service on all events. Works closely with clients to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing


  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor and trusted partner to event hosts, guiding high-profile and executive-level events from concept through execution.
  • Lead comprehensive event planning and logistics, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully considered, proactively managed, and executed to the highest standard.
  • Anticipate client and attendee needs, identify potential risks, and implement solutions before issues arise to deliver a seamless event experience.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional service teams, including Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Executive Production, Security, Transportation, and Janitorial Services, to coordinate and align all event requirements.
  • Develop detailed event plans, production schedules, run-of-show documents, event workbooks, communication strategies, and contingency plans.
  • Manage complex event timelines, priorities, and deliverables while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy throughout the planning process.
  • Facilitate client consultations, planning meetings, site visits, and pre-event walkthroughs, providing expert recommendations and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Lead planning and status meetings with executive stakeholders, demonstrating polished verbal and written communication skills while building trust and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation, track changes, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Partner with onsite event teams to communicate expectations, oversee execution, and ensure events are delivered flawlessly and in accordance with client objectives.
  • Conduct venue and event readiness reviews, proactively identifying and resolving operational, logistical, or service gaps.
  • Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments, making informed decisions while maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-4+ years of experience managing high-profile corporate, executive, or strategic events, with demonstrated success delivering complex events requiring exceptional attention to detail and stakeholder management.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead planning discussions and develop polished client-facing communications.
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, proactively solve problems, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Strong experience managing event logistics, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional partnerships from planning through execution.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering a seamless, high-touch event experience.
  • Proficiency in G Suite and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Nice To Have

  • CMP designation.
  • Experience supporting complex or multisite events.

Working Logistics & Things You Should Know

  • This is an Onsite role, based on business and event needs.
  • Travel Required: No travel required.
  • The compensation range for this position is $85,000-$95,000, determined based on experience and qualifications. Compensation for internal candidates will be reviewed in accordance with our internal compensation practices.
