We are proud to be a military and veteran-friendly employer. About This Position The accounting coordinator coordinates processing of lockbox transactions through customer checks and money orders. You will Process accounts payable for Access Corrections. You will work onsite and remotely. You will report to the Accounting Supervisor. Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities Coordinate Lockbox Program (Money Order and Check Deposit Processes). Check Data Entry. Research and solve issues related to Lockbox Program and Processing. Process accounts payable for Access Corrections. Scan or deposit all lockbox batches, secure deposit Invoices, chargeback payments, and other deposits. Maintain existing Pay It Today and Lockbox Excel Spreadsheets. Sort, date stamp, and distribute all mail for Access Corrections. Maintain the check register for Secure Deposit Account. Issue refund checks for Lockbox and Chargeback Customers. Research and report as requested by facilities. Prepare all reports as requested by management. Other responsibilities as determined by our needs. What You'll Need Associates degree or relevant business and accounting experience. Accounting Experience. Recent experience with money order and check processing. Proficient in Microsoft products. Manage tasks and deadlines.
