Description

An Event Support Associate role in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. This role supports the onsite execution of winery events, including private dinners, lunches, meetings, receptions, community events, and other guest experiences. The Event Support Associate assists with event setup, service, guest hospitality, breakdown, and general event operations to help ensure each event is executed smoothly and delivers an exceptional guest experience.

This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position that is eligible for tips. This role is expected to run from October through December, subject to business needs. To support onsite events and winery operations, candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Event Support Associate job responsibilities include:



  • Support onsite execution of winery events, including dinners, lunches, meetings, receptions, community events, and other hospitality experiences.
  • Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, place settings, linens, decor, signage, service stations, and other event materials.
  • Provide attentive, professional service to guests, including greeting, directing, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and responding to guest needs.
  • Partner with event, culinary, tasting room, and hospitality teams to ensure event timelines, service standards, and guest expectations are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events.
  • Assist with event breakdown, including clearing tables, resetting spaces, packing supplies, removing trash, and returning equipment and materials to designated areas.
  • Communicate event needs, guest requests, timing updates, and operational concerns to event leadership.
  • Help create a welcoming, polished, and hospitable environment that reflects Chateau Ste. Michelle service standards.


Physical Requirements:



  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.


Position Requirements:



  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Class 12 MAST Permit and Food Handler's Permit required.
  • Prior hospitality, restaurant, banquet, catering, tasting room, or event service experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service skills with a professional, warm, and welcoming presence.
  • Ability to follow direction, stay organized, and contribute positively as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to communicate guest or operational needs clearly.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


Your Compensation:

$17.67 - $22.99 per hour based upon relevant experience.
