Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for the use of measuring and testing equipment; reading and interpreting blueprints, documentation and engineering specifications; and legibly recording data.

Primary Responsibilities



  • lnspect incoming, in-process, and out-going materials to specifications using the proper calibrated measuring devices correctly.
  • Works closely with and trains shop floor personnel.
  • Evaluates parts and reports non-conformances.
  • Stops production when quality issues are detected.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, control plans and engineering specifications.
  • Maintains documentation and records.
  • Assists in maintenance of quality system.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Experience



  • Excellent writing, math and analytical skills.
  • At least 1 year of quality experience in manufacturing.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and lift material up to 50 pounds.
