Elderwood Village at Colonie | Colonie, NY Elderwood Village at Colonie is seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Maintenance to lead the maintenance, physical plant, grounds, and life safety operations of our 94-bed assisted living community. Our beautiful Colonie campus is currently undergoing renovations, making this an exciting opportunity for a maintenance professional who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and can effectively lead a department while partnering with facility leadership and staff. As Director of Maintenance, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operation, preventative maintenance program, life safety compliance, grounds, equipment, and facility systems. You will also supervise maintenance staff, coordinate outside contractors, manage departmental supplies and costs, and ensure that repairs and maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to residents and daily operations.
