General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedLogistics Deputy Program Manager (DPM)to support the M-SHORAD Interim Contractor Support (ICS) program. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of the M-SHORAD ICS contract within the allocated budget and schedule.

The DPM will work closely with the Program Manager and other stakeholders to oversee Operational Availability & Readiness Analytics, Inventory Management & Supply Support Requirements, GOCO Facilities & Space Management, Contract Management, Supplier Coordination, Retrofit Activities, Procurement, Field Service Representative (FSR) Management, and Detailed Fielding Support & System Integration/CheckOut (SICO), New Equipment Training (NET), and OPNET, and Institutional Training Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, putting theCustomer First.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive organizational environment to build a cohesive and high-performing team, creating aWorkplace of Choice.
  • Represent the program as the lead decision-maker during customer and internal meetings, as needed.
  • Lead program risk management efforts, including biweekly Risk Review Boards, and present risks to both the customer and GDLS leadership during formal reviews.
  • Responsibility for inventory management of unique SGT STOUT parts and STTE for over 200 vehicles.
  • Maintain 90% Operational Availability for program unique assemblies/subassemblies.
  • Oversight of operations within GovernmentOwned ContractorOperated (GOCO) facilities at multiple.
  • Coordinate supplier efforts through Supply Chain Management, ensuring key interfaces are identified and stakeholder interests are managed within scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain a contingency operations plan in support of global operations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing timely updates and keeping management informed on program status Communicate with a Purpose.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in a Business-related field, or degree in another field applicable to the work performed..
  • Advanced or additional degree in Business Administration is a plus.
  • Experience:10+ years of relevant experience in program or logistics management.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent commnication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve objectives and meet performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other tools to develop presentations and media displays.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and resolve complex issues autonomously.
  • Knowledge of business finances, project budget management, forecasting, scheduling tools, and critical path analysis.
  • Exposure to Oracle applications, and Teamcenter.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD clearance and passport.
  • Occasional domestic travel required production facilities, government locations, and/or suppliers.
