Position Highlights This is a full-time position, 1.0 FTE, working as a member of CALES Business Team 3 within Division Business Services. The position possesses skills focused on contributing to the growth and development of the office and provide support with financial tasks including effective management of day-today transactions, financial/data analysis and financial compliance. Professional demeanor, customer service, and teamwork are required for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supports the daily operations of 3 units, through the initiation and reconciliation of various transactions in Concur, position distributions, disbursement vouchers, and purchase orders.
  • Works with internal stake holders, including faculty, staff and students, to ensure fiscal and operational compliance with University policies and guidelines.
  • Supports the daily operations through processing and payment of utilities, gas/fuel programs, and other services.
  • Acts as a point of contact and a resource in the documentation of financial and operational procedures within a specific field of accounting (internal audit, general accounting, joint ventures accounting, joint ventures audit, taxation, or a combination of the aforementioned).
  • Inventory custodian, staff provisioning, foundation transfers and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
  • One year of relevant work experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 or more years' experience working with financial transactions and operations.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
