The Opportunity

As a Principal Solutions Consultant, you will be a key driver in helping financial institutions understand how OpenText Business Network solutions can address their most important integration, automation, and compliance challenges. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to design and present integration and visibility solutions that support payments, cash management, onboarding, real-time reporting, and global connectivity.

This is a strategic, client-facing role that combines solution expertise with financial services domain knowledge. You will guide banks, insurers, and corporate treasury teams through complex financial integration needs-including corporate-to-bank connectivity-and help them unlock the full potential of the OpenText platform.

You Are Great At

• Engaging with financial services organizations to understand their business processes, integration challenges, and regulatory needs
• Translating complex financial services requirements into clear solution proposals and compelling demonstrations
• Leading technical qualification, solution design, and proposal development for financial services opportunities
• Partnering with Sales to drive opportunity assessment, deal strategy, and account planning
• Presenting to senior financial services stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of industry needs
• Responding to RFPs and RFIs with focused, high-impact financial services content
• Supporting proof-of-concepts with hands-on guidance, best practices, and troubleshooting
• Working with Delivery to ensure smooth implementation transitions for financial services accounts

What It Takes

• 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, presales, or software delivery
• Strong understanding of financial services integration needs, including payments, cash management, onboarding, compliance, and global messaging
• Deep knowledge of B2B, API-based integration, and enterprise application integration
• Familiarity with SaaS, EDI, REST, JSON, SWIFT, ISO 20022, SAML, SOA, AWS, and GCP
• Exposure to platforms such as Gentran, Axway, Sterling, Volante, FIS, Finastra, Bottomline, MuleSoft, and GXS
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for business leaders and financial services executives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to travel to support client engagements
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
• Bachelor's degree required; industry certifications or financial services training preferred

En tant que consultant(e) principal(e) en solutions, vous jouerez un role cle pour aider les institutions financieres a comprendre comment les solutions OpenText Business Network peuvent repondre a leurs principaux enjeux en matiere d'integration, d'automatisation et de conformite. Vous collaborerez etroitement avec les equipes des ventes, des produits et de la livraison afin de concevoir et de presenter des solutions d'integration et de visibilite qui prennent en charge les paiements, la gestion de tresorerie, l'integration des clients, les rapports en temps reel et la connectivite mondiale.

Il s'agit d'un role strategique en contact direct avec les clients, qui combine expertise en solutions et connaissance approfondie du secteur des services financiers. Vous accompagnerez les banques, les assureurs et les equipes de tresorerie des entreprises dans la gestion de besoins complexes en matiere d'integration financiere, notamment la connectivite entre les entreprises et les banques, et les aiderez a tirer pleinement parti de la plateforme OpenText.

Vous excellez dans les domaines suivants

• Interagir avec des organisations de services financiers afin de comprendre leurs processus d'affaires, leurs defis en matiere d'integration et leurs exigences reglementaires
• Transformer des exigences complexes liees aux services financiers en propositions de solutions claires et en demonstrations convaincantes
• Diriger la qualification technique, la conception de solutions et l'elaboration de propositions dans le cadre d'occasions d'affaires liees aux services financiers
• Collaborer avec les equipes des ventes afin de soutenir l'evaluation des occasions, la strategie de vente et la planification des comptes
• Presenter des solutions a des decideurs et hauts dirigeants du secteur des services financiers avec clarte, assurance et une solide comprehension des besoins de l'industrie
• Repondre aux appels d'offres (RFP) et aux demandes d'information (RFI) en fournissant du contenu pertinent et a forte valeur ajoutee dans le domaine des services financiers
• Soutenir les preuves de concept grace a des conseils pratiques, aux meilleures pratiques et a la resolution de problemes
• Collaborer avec l'equipe de livraison afin d'assurer une transition harmonieuse vers la mise en uvre pour les comptes du secteur des services financiers

Ce qu'il vous faut

• Plus de 5 ans d'experience en consultation de solutions, en avant-vente ou en livraison de logiciels
• Solide comprehension des besoins d'integration des services financiers, notamment en matiere de paiements, de gestion de tresorerie, d'integration des clients, de conformite et de messagerie financiere mondiale
• Connaissance approfondie de l'integration B2B, de l'integration basee sur les API et de l'integration d'applications d'entreprise
• Connaissance des technologies et normes suivantes : SaaS, EDI, REST, JSON, SWIFT, ISO 20022, SAML, SOA, AWS et GCP
• Experience ou connaissance de plateformes telles que Gentran, Axway, Sterling, Volante, FIS, Finastra, Bottomline, MuleSoft et GXS

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $170,000-$250,000; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
