Job Summary B&A is seeking a Declassification Specialist to support the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) at Naval Reactors Headquarters. In this role, you will conduct declassification reviews of NNPP records in compliance with Executive Order 13526 and applicable guidance. This role does require the individual to occasionally travel between two work locations, Naval Reactors HQ on the Navy Yard and the National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, excellent administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex workflows. This role involves reviewing a variety of classified documents, ensuring proper handling and disposition, coordinating with multiple agencies as needed, evaluating, IT work, technical data manipulation, technical troubleshooting, and developing policy and procedures, and support information protection compliance evaluations and audits.
