Primary Purpose of Position
North Carolina A& State University (NC A&T) is soliciting applications for the position of the RCMI Clinical Research Associate/ Lab Manager. The RCMI positions will support the successful implementation, administration, operations of a health disparities research center funded by the National Institutes of Health ( NIH) under the Research Centers at Minority Institutions ( RCMI) mechanism. The RCMI at NC A&T will initially focus on brain health and cardiometabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disorders.

Supported by an NIH R01 subaward under the NCAT Research Centers in Minority Institutions ( RCMI) mechanism, this position integrates high-level clinical research data collection, laboratory operations oversight, and personnel training.

The CardioMetabolic eXercise Laboratory ( CMX-Lab) conducts cutting-edge translational human research in collaboration with nanoengineering and microbiota experts.
