| Position Summary |
The Position Management Specialist is responsible for providing cross functional support to Auxiliary Human Resources. This incumbent's primary focus will be to aid in the initiation of transactional processes related to hiring and onboarding, executed by the Auxiliary Position Management team utilizing the Team Dynamix ticketing system. Along with this
primary focus, the PM Specialist will work in coordination with the units to support the orientation and onboarding of new staff members with input from leadership. Ultimately, the HR Generalist will help the Auxiliary Services HR team to ensure a positive experience with our support services that meets the division's human resources needs. |

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, web-based platforms and able to easily train on new programs or systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community.
- Ability to analyze complex information, define and solve problems, and accurately draw appropriate conclusions.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks.

Position Management:
- Process all incoming service request utilizing Team Dynamix Ticketing System.
- Create job postings in UGAJobs from pre-approved materials provided by leadership in a timely manner.
- Review all vacated positions and work with the Position Management Manager to determine if an evaluation or modification is needed.
- Submit position evaluations or modifications in preparation for posting
- Draft appropriate documentation as necessary including salary actions and justifications for salaries outside allowable percentages.
- Create hiring folders and maintain the files

Hiring & Onboarding:
- Prepare Hiring Proposals for submission within UGAjobs
- Prepare offer letters for Full time Auxiliary Services employees
- Submit appropriate documentation to Hiring Proposal when needed, including salary actions and justifications.
- Assist candidates with background check requirements/questions
- Confirm start date and work with Auxiliary departments to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience
- Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure timely and accurate creation of personnel folders.

General HR Duties:
- Serve as HR Representative on Auxiliary interview panels as needed
- Organize and maintain staff personnel files.
- Provide excellent customer service to all Auxiliary and UGA employees.
- Cross-train with other functional areas within Auxiliary HR to provide back-up
- Respond to various general unit/staff inquiries related to support services provided by Auxiliary Human Resources.
- Provide HR support as necessary to the division staff and leadership.
