The School of Psychological and Brain Sciences is dedicated to advancing psychological science through cutting-edge research, innovative education, and impactful community engagement. The School of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position, beginning Summer 2027. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position with provisions for promotion in rank. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students. Responsibilities
The position is dedicated to undergraduate classroom instruction in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Primary responsibilities include: Teaching, especially in lower-division courses, such as General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology/Psychopathology, and Personality Theory. Course and curriculum development. Supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students. Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Preferred Qualifications
A PhD in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field. Recognized professional expertise in clinical psychology or related areas, including impactful teaching, applied projects, or research. Evidence of effective teaching strategies that support the learning and success of students in traditional and online modalities. Interest in innovative undergraduate instruction and high-impact practices as pedagogy that support deep learning and student success. Proven record of mentoring, advising, or developing others in academic or professional contexts. Required Documents to Attach
