SUMMARY: Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between conventional liquid paint and powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin." QUALIFICATIONS: * Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods * Commitment to excellence and high standards * Acute attention to detail * Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used inthe workplace PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: * Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance. * Walk, bend, and climb stairs. * Stand for long periods of time. * Wear appropriate safety equipment.
