Well-Being

The Office of Student Well-Being provides counseling services, health promotion initiatives, and prevention programs that support students' personal, academic, and professional success. Work in the office includes counseling services, case management, and wellness programming support.

Job Description

The Health Educator will play a key role in supporting the health and well-being of both students and employees by facilitating mental well-being initiatives and promoting a positive campus culture. This position will provide organizational-level outreach, individual consultations, and support programs such as the Well-Being Ambassador Program and the Faculty/Staff Champions Program. This position would also help facilitate training and outreach for campus, to include STEP UP! bystander intervention training and assisting with and overseeing our student workers (Joe's Peers and Peer Wellness Educators) who provide data informed campus initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $22.50 per hour.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
