Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift)

Fahrman Center | Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan

Make a difference in the lives of individuals on their recovery journey.

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a Part-time Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at Fahrman Center, a 42-bed residential treatment facility providing substance use treatment and restorative justice services in a supportive, recovery-focused environment.

In this role, you'll provide supervision, guidance, and encouragement to residents while helping maintain a safe, structured setting that promotes recovery, accountability, and personal growth.


Important Position Requirement

Due to contractual requirements with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, this position requires a male staff member who can conduct observed urine analyses for male residents.


Schedule & Benefits

Part-time | 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm two days during the week end every other weekend)

What You'll Do

  • Support and supervise residents in a residential treatment setting
  • Build positive, professional relationships and serve as a role model
  • Document resident progress and daily activities
  • Assist with medication monitoring and daily living activities
  • Facilitate life skills and educational groups
  • Transport residents to appointments and approved activities
  • Conduct urinalysis collections and breathalyzer testing
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations


What We're Looking For

Required:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries
  • Ability to pass required background and medical clearances


Preferred:



  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, human services, or a related field
  • Coursework in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related areas
