Summary:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, Advertising, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • One (1) or more years of experience, including applicable internships, in:
    • Public Relations
    • Marketing
    • Marketing Communications
    • Social Media
    • Journalism
    • Advertising
  • Healthcare, consulting, or agency experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational and internal communications principles.
  • Experience in news writing, editing, speech writing, and/or employee communications.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of AP Style and editorial best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
  • Strong storytelling and content development skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Effective project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking in communication strategies and content development.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in documenting, maintaining, and managing communications content.
  • Understanding of HIPAA/PHI requirements and the importance of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision while exercising sound judgment.
