Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel to USAR sites to perform Site Assistance Visits (SAV) (10%-25% Travel) Job Description
The IA Security Specialist - Mid will work to maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) of several information systems within the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC). The IA Security Specialist will take direction from a team lead but has reasonable autonomy to seek process improvements and to engage in enterprise and system-level cybersecurity-related engineering tasks. The successful candidate should have experience performing assessment and authorization tasks, good verbal / written communication skills, and the ability to interpret NIST and DoD guidance. Additionally, the candidate will have knowledge of industry tools (i.e. ACAS, ESS (Trellix, Tychon), DISA STIGs, Active Directory, etc.). Job Duties and Responsibilities
