Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $18.75 - $21.75/hour Shift: 12 Hour Days or Night Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00pm - 7:00am (3-3-4-4 Schedule) Join our dynamic team in Elk Grove Village, IL as a Material Handler, ensuring seamless production by maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked workspaces. Your attention to detail and proactive maintenance keep our printing operations running smoothly, offering a hands-on role in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where your efforts make a real impact. Material Handler Responsibilities: - Change all cardboard, excluding flipper cardboard and under the units, to facilitate uninterrupted printing - Check and refill chemicals such as roller wash, MRC, LPC, and other required solutions to ensure proper machine functionality - Empty the rag barrel and maintain an adequate supply of clean rags for ongoing use - Refill the water bucket with fresh, clean water to support cleaning and maintenance tasks - Wipe down presses, benches, and quickly clean catwalks to keep work areas tidy - Clean and properly store all tools after use, ensuring equipment safety and organization - Clean and sweep floors regularly to maintain a debris-free workspace - Assist with other duties and tasks assigned by the Pressman to support daily production needs Requirements for Material Handler: - Ability to lift and handle materials and supplies safely and efficiently - Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Experience with industrial cleaning and maintenance is preferred but not mandatory IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
