About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic communications professional to bridge the gap between our innovative engineering teams and a diverse range of external audiences. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in translating complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging stories about our advanced AI technology, vision, and real-world impact. You will craft compelling narratives that captivate industry stakeholders, media, customers, and the general public, playing a crucial part in shaping public understanding and trust in the future of autonomous systems.

What You'll Do



  • Drive the creation and execution of high-quality external content pipelines, including impactful blog posts, engaging social media updates, precise talking points, and comprehensive media briefing materials.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership to identify, develop, and amplify compelling stories centered around artificial intelligence and its applications.
  • Proactively manage and cultivate strategic relationships with key AI reporters, influential tech journalists, and industry thought leaders to ensure broad and accurate coverage.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a closely related field, OR an additional 5+ years of relevant professional work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 7+ years of direct professional work experience specifically within technology communications.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous driving technology topics.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced technology startup environment.
  • Familiarity with the autonomous vehicle (AV) industry and its surrounding regulatory landscape.
