We are seeking an Automotive Assistant Service Manager to support daily operations at a busy automotive service center in Plano, TX. This leadership-focused role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service, repair order management, technician coordination, and shop operations experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily automotive service center operations and workflow management.
• Assign and dispatch repair work based on technician skills and workload.
• Monitor technician productivity, service quality, and repair completion timelines.
• Create repair orders, document vehicle concerns, and communicate repair updates to customers.
• Coordinate loaner vehicles, towing services, and outside repair vendors as needed.
• Coach and support technicians while helping drive performance and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with management to improve processes, resolve operational issues, and maintain service standards.
• Coordinate vehicle evaluations, quality investigations, and special automotive projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and company expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
• Prior dealership or automotive service center experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating technicians is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of repair orders, service operations, and customer service best practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment.
