Fabrication Technician

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on automotive components and assemblies
• Fabricate custom parts using sheet metal, pipe, and structural materials
• Cut, bend, weld, and assemble components to engineering specifications
• Build and modify gas tanks, suspension components, bumpers, engine mounts, transmission cross members, and air intake systems
• Operate fabrication equipment, plasma cutters, and machining tools
• Complete light body repair work and panel installation
• Align and fit doors, hoods, tailgates, quarter panels, and related components
• Read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Maintain quality standards and safe work practices

• Previous automotive fabrication and welding experience
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Experience with plasma tables or plasma cutting equipment preferred
