IT Support Engineer III [Onsite] No Visa Sponsorship is available for this position. This position is 100% on-site and located on the Cornell University Campus in Ithaca, New York. This position will require occasional off-hours support. About the Tech, Bowers, and Duffield Engineering IT Group The Tech, Bowers, and Duffield Engineering IT Group (TBE IT) provides administrative, faculty, and research IT support to the Cornell Duffield College of Engineering, Bowers College of Computing and Information Science, and Cornell Tech. The colleges incorporate over 9,000 faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students. Members of this team work collaboratively to provide Applications and Reporting, Infrastructure, Instructional, Desktop Engineering, Network, Research, Security, Web and AV support. What will you do: The IT Support Engineer III is expected to deliver a high level of IT support across the TBE IT faculty and staff community. Proficient with end user device management SaaS solutions that directly impact our user base. Partner with academics, students and staff to provide IT solutions that directly impact research projects and goals. Act as a technical leader within the team and assume a leading role amongst our various service offerings. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other ITSG end user technicians on adoption of campus standards.
