The Role

UST is searching for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications using Java technologies.

What You'll Do

* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and Microservices.

* Build scalable REST APIs and integrate with third-party services.

* Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing.

* Implement secure and high-performance applications using Spring Security and Spring Boot.

* Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.

* Optimize database queries and improve application performance.

* Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and production support activities.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

* Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

What You Need

* Experience Range: 7-10+ Years

* 7+ years of experience in Java application development.

* Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Framework, and enterprise application development.

* Hands-on experience with:

* Spring Boot

* Spring MVC

* Spring Security

* Spring IOC

* Spring AOP

* Hibernate/JPA

* Experience in designing and developing RESTful Web Services and Microservices architecture.

* Strong knowledge of Kafka for real-time messaging, event-driven architecture, and stream processing.

* Experience with Docker and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.

* Strong understanding of Microservices design patterns and distributed systems.

* Experience in data analysis and data-driven solutions using SQL.

* Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

* Hands-on experience with JIRA for sprint planning, tracking, and defect management.

* Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

* Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.

* Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.

* Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Bentonville, Arkansas

Compensation Range: $94,000-$141,000
