The Manager, Mortgage TPO Processing oversees the day-to-day execution of Third-Party Origination (TPO) loan processing activities, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation, review, and progression of mortgage loan files submitted through approved broker channels. This role leads a team of mortgage professionals, supports operational effectiveness, resolves workflow challenges, and drives consistent service delivery while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the daily operations of TPO loan processing functions, ensuring accurate review, collection, and validation of borrower documentation such as credit information, income and asset documentation, appraisals, and underwriting conditions.
• Effectively Collaborate with internal business partners and third-party brokers to coordinate activities, address escalated issues, and support the efficient movement of loan transactions through the processing lifecycle.
• Lead and develop a team of TPO processing professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, training, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Monitor pipeline volume, workflow distribution, turn times, service-level agreements (SLAs), and operational performance to ensure processing objectives and funding goals are achieved.
• Partner closely with Account Executives, Underwriting, Closing, Funding, and Sales leadership to support the efficient movement of broker-submitted loans through the origination lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, documentation deficiencies, and workflow blocks while implementing solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and broker satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain departmental procedures that support consistency, scalability, operational excellence, and best-in-class broker experience.
• Support strategic initiatives, technology implementations, and process improvement efforts that enhance operational effectiveness and strengthen TPO channel performance.
• Analyze operational data, performance metrics, and workflow trends to identify opportunities for process enhancement and improved resource utilization.

Essential Skills:

• Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, processing, fulfillment, underwriting support, or lending operations.
• Some experience leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management
• Experience working within a regulated environment and applying operational controls and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of loan processing practices, loan documentation requirements, record maintenance, and operational procedures, third party or mortgage lending experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, establish priorities, and achieve operational goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate resources, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, and quality standards impacting lending operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and service excellence.
• Proficiency with lending systems, business applications, reporting tools, and process documentation.
• Required Education: Bachelor's degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree), advanced degree preferred.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with a minimum of 1 day per week in office

Target Compensation: $93,000 to $111,500 annually + annual bonus
