Role Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Endpoint Migration Engineer with mandatory Quest experience in endpoint migrations involving Microsoft Entra ID and Hybrid-joined devices across domains. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience planning, leading, and executing large-scale enterprise endpoint transformations using the Quest migration toolset, with minimal business disruption.

The role involves complex migrations related to Active Directory domain consolidations, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, Microsoft Entra ID transitions, hybrid Active Directory environments, and cross-forest migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end endpoint migration programs across multiple domains, forests, and tenant environments.
• Design and execute Hybrid AD, Entra ID Join, Entra Hybrid Join, and domain-to-domain migration strategies.
• Utilize Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) and related Quest technologies for Active Directory, device, profile, and identity migrations.
• Develop migration waves, cutover plans, rollback strategies, and business readiness activities.
• Assess and remediate dependencies involving Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Intune, SCCM/MECM, PKI, VPN, security tools, application authentication, and profile management.
• Manage device migrations for Windows endpoints, kiosks, shared devices, remote users, and international locations.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, identity, networking, and application teams to ensure migration readiness.
• Manage migration risks, resolve issues, communicate with stakeholders, and provide executive reporting.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Quest On Demand Migration (ODM), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Group Policy, and Windows endpoint management.
• Mandatory experience migrating endpoints using Quest across Microsoft Entra ID and Hybrid-joined devices across domains.
• Proven experience delivering migrations involving thousands to tens of thousands of endpoints across multiple geographies.
• Strong understanding of identity, authentication, conditional access, device compliance, and endpoint security controls.
• Experience supporting carve-outs, divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, and tenant separation programs.
