Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills * Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware * Very strong hands-on experience with hardware and software * Good knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office * Knowledge of macOS * Application and software installation and troubleshooting * Knowledge of or exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow * Strong troubleshooting skills * Hardware, operating system, and software knowledge for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices * Working knowledge of supporting computer peripherals such as printers and scanners * Strong hands-on experience with hardware and software * Hardware, operating system, and software knowledge Roles & Responsibilities * Provides second-line investigation and diagnosis * Resolves and closes incidents and service requests in accordance with help desk procedures and allocated timelines * Escalates unresolved incidents and service requests within agreed timescales * Logs relevant incident and service request details in accordance with process * Communicates with users regarding incident progress * Ensures tickets are updated until issues are resolved * Complies with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and IT policies * Liaises with users, IT support groups, and third-party providers when necessary * Performs staging of PCs * Performs IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities for end-user hardware, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, desk phones, and meeting-room devices * Conducts hardware and software maintenance and support * Troubleshoots and resolves PC incidents and VIP requests * Manages centralized hardware and spare-parts stock, inventory, and surplus equipment * Provides break-fix services to nearby small sites, using shipping options such as device exchange or loaner PCs * Provides asset disposal services * Coordinates with hardware vendors for break-fix services * Images and provisions devices, and sets up and builds workstations * Updates the AMDB with hardware and software information * Manages logistics for PCs and other devices Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 a year TCS Employee Benefits Summary: Discretionary Annual Incentive.
