CNA - Medical Surgical at Providence Portland Willamette Falls Medical Center in Portland, OR.

$4,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. This is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

This is a combined posting for Associate Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant. The requirements for each role are listed below under each associated title. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan.

The Med/Surg CNA 2 performs clinical duties and assists licensed nursing personnel in the provision of basic nursing tasks.

CNA 1

Required Qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1 year Experience in nursing home or hospital experience.


CNA 2

Required Qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1 year General hospital experience.
  • 1 year Experience as a CNA 2.


Salary Range by Location:

CNA 1, Salary Range:

Oregon City, OR Min: $18.25, Max: $27.90

CNA 2, Salary Range:

Oregon City, OR Min: $19.02, Max: $29.06
