Household Dining Cook St. Ann's Community is currently seeking Household Dining Cooks for the St. Ann's Home located on the Portland Campus. The primary focus of the position is to assist in the operation and maintenance of the household kitchen in grill cooking, proper stocking and rotation of food supplies and providing the best possible dining experience. Job Description: Assembles and portions beverage/food items for the meal service Sets up steam table with the menu items in preparation for meal service Serves hot and cold food items according to the diet order for 30 Elders from the Neighborhood kitchen Returns all beverage/food items to their proper storage area at the end of the meal service labeled and dated per departmental guidelines Cleans neighborhood kitchen and beverage center area after each meal service and responsible for the overall sanitation Ensures all perishable food items are labeled and dated to assure freshness of product per department guidelines Responsible for following FIFO method when stocking Candidate Requirements: Minimum 6 months line/grill cook experience in a moderate volume setting ServSafe certification preferred Ability to push loaded food carts distances of 300 to 400 FT. and lift or move objects up to 50 LBS.
