Summary: UNC Physicians Network is currently seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our network at UNC Family Medicine at Wendell Falls, a new clinic, opening in April of 2025!This practice will be a full-service family practice, treating both children and adults. Qualifications of the ideal candidate include: * MD/DO; * Board Certified or Eligible Family Medicine; * Previous experience supervising or working with advanced practice providers is a plus; * New grads are encouraged to apply; * Demonstrated customer service orientation; ability to resolve difficult situations constructively; * Ability to work effectively with providers, clinical staff, and administration; * Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, at all levels within an organization. Other Information Other information:Education Requirements:* Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.Licensure/Certification Requirements:* None required.* DEA;ACLS;MDProfessional Experience Requirements:* Prefer prior hospitalist experience.Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:* Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
