Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence Faculty Series

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals are actively seeking new faculty members to join our team. Appointments will be made at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ranks in the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.

Successful candidates will become part of a prominent academic medical center and an established fellowship training program. This role may involve clinical duties at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses, actively contributing to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.

Qualifications:



  • Qualified candidates must possess a medical degree and license, board eligibility or certification in pediatrics, and board eligibility or certification in pediatric gastroenterology.
  • Demonstrated experience in the practice and teaching of clinical pediatric gastroenterology.
  • Preferred candidates will demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in academic pediatrics.

For positions that are 51% effort or more:

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

For positions that are 50% effort or less:

See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $74,800-$228,600.
