Take on an important role as a Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse Supervisor with our Venice Family Clinic team and make a difference in the community. In this position, you will assist the provider staff of our primary care clinic in most aspects of health care to our clinic population. The Sr. LVN Supervisor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the medical assistant staff, helping with any problem-solving needs that arise for clinic operations, and performing supervisory duties such as timesheet corrections/approvals, scheduling and approving time off, performance evaluations, and interviewing/training staff. The Senior LVN Supervisor will also performall other duties assigned within the scope of practice

Salary Range: $36.49- $76.05 Hourly

Qualifications
Required:

  • Two years of work experience in providing primary care in pediatric setting.
  • California State Licensed Vocational Nurse (IV certified).
  • Phlebotomy certification and BCLS/CPR card.
  • Skill in performing phlebotomy and skill in administering injections and immunizations.
  • Effective oral and written bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, and skill at working independently and prioritizing assignments.
  • Ability to pass a Basic Health Worker course and obtain certificate.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on assignments, and work in a busy setting with conflicting demands.
  • Knowledge of health education, public health, and medical terminology.
