Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching layout techniques for web, digital, and print media, with a strong emphasis on concept development, effective communication strategies, and audience engagement. Provides academic instruction and student academic support for assigned classes. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's of Fine Art in Graphic and Interactive Design or closely related fields. Five plus years of work experience in graphic and interactive design.

Candidates must have an online portfolio presenting strong graphic and interactive design work.

The selected applicant will teach Web Design and Interactive Media and Design courses in the HACC Graphic and Interactive Design program. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in web design and development, particularly in HTML, CSS, Figma, Java Script, and related technologies. This course aims to provide students with foundational skills in web design, enabling them to create and maintain visually appealing and functional websites.

Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's License
Compliance with PA ACT-15 Clearances

Preferred Qualifications: MFA in graphic and interactive design or related fields
College level teaching experience
