Widener University is currently seeking a full-time 3rd Shift Campus Safety Officer. This position is outdoors and averages 40 hours a week, 10 hours a day, 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM. This position reports to the Lieutenant on duty. Campus Safety Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and general well-being of all University community members, safeguarding university property and enforcing university policies and rules. Emphasis will be on responding to all calls for service and fostering good community relations and providing professional service. COMPENSATION: Starting Pay Rate - $17.66 per hour Sign-On Bonus - All new hires who remain in good standing and successfully complete the training program become eligible to receive a one-time stipend of $500.00 after 3 months of employment. All new hires who are in good standing and successfully completed the training program, become eligible to receive another one-time stipend after 6 months of employment of $1,000.00.
