This is a continuous job opening, allowing faculty members/PIs to review and interview applicants as funding comes available. The position will remain open from July 2024- June 2025. Duties and Responsibilities: Positions available in the Department of Plant Pathology may be in the areas of plant pathogens, virus and phytoplasma diseases, molecular biology and gene mapping, cloning of plant disease response genes, epidemiology, microbial ecology, blo-control, cereal rusts, forest pathology, population genetics, bacterial diseases, air pollutants, mycotoxins, nematology, diseases of vegetables and ornamentals, urban pathology, mycology, wild rice, electron optics, computers, diseases of small grains, resistance to plant pathogens, turfgrass diseases, potato diseases, and soybean cropping systems and disease management. Qualifications
Appointment percentages are between 50-100%. These temporary positions are periodically available to individuals holding an earned Ph.D. degree and applicable training and/or experience. The positions vary in areas of specialization depending on availability of funding and are either full or part-time. About the Department
