Job Summary

The Director of Business and Innovation is a strategic business leader and innovator with a career spanning large, complex technology companies, entrepreneurial ventures, consulting engagements, and commercial strategy who has fostered new partnerships and business cases where no blueprint previously existed. Experienced with generative AI technology, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and pursuing opportunities to integrate AI-driven solutions into our products and services. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth, and increase customer engagement, while improving operational efficiency through the strategic implementation of generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities

*Lead the efforts to conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, company pain points and opportunities, and potential partners in the generative AI space
*Cultivate and maintain relationships with leading AI tech providers, startups, system integrators, and other relevant stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities
*Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility and impact of integrating generative AI capabilities into our business
*Develop and execute strategic initiatives to capitalize on generative AI technologies, including product roadmap planning, pricing strategies, and how best to scope pilots with functional business units
*Provide support to sales, customer care, product, and marketing teams by equipping them with the knowledge of latest industry trends to address their business needs
*The leader is a data-driven decision maker who works closely with Finance, Product, Data & Analytics, and CTIO organizations to rationalize introducing solutions and the associated business impact

Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product
*8+ years of experience negotiating complex partnerships in technology, communications, and media sectors
*Previous experience in telecom, working customer care, sales, and marketing
*Strong and humble collaborator, a true team player who is relentlessly focused end results
*Expertise in articulating product functionality and demonstrating technical acumen
*Experience influencing and leading in a matrixed environment
*Ability to work effectively with deeply technical partners, business stakeholders, and operational teams to organize, influence, and align them toward the best outcomes.
*Highly emotionally intelligent and must have superb communication and leadership skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills that drive collaboration and input from other leaders in the organization
