The Quality Process Engineering Manager manages the efforts toward the achievement and adherence required to produce high quality printed circuit boards. Responsible for leading cross functional teams in gathering, assessing, and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The main focus of this position is to lead a support staff from multiple workgroups in the support of controlled, predictable manufacturing processes. This requires an excellent understanding of customer requirements, governing specifications, and manufacturing capabilities. Must be able to assess process gaps in capability and compliance to champion data-drive solutions. Developing a team that has the ability to work seamlessly with daily operations to ensure timely support of manufacturing is crucial. Effective communication with Engineering, Operations, Production Control, Sales and site management is key to acceptable performance in this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the IPC 6012 module training program.

  • Be the site IPC 6012 expert.

  • Direct the activities of engineering and other technical resources in the evaluation, disposition, and corrective action surrounding internal product quality.

  • Lead technical support staff in troubleshooting internal and external failures to assess containment, root cause and corrective measures.

  • Manage Customer Corrective Action activities by utilizing and teaching effective investigation, writing and communication skills to be used consistently by the workgroup.

  • Plan, develop and manage the departmental budget.

  • Develop and utilize Quality reporting metrics and tools to drive financial improvement through increased product yield.

  • Work directly with external customers and support groups to ensure that customer requirements are understood and met.

  • Manage microsection and wet process resources to support product delivery, engineering testing and failure analysis in the most cost-effective manner.

  • Ensure communication of departmental key metrics related to safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Manage employee relations issues and assist employees in the resolution of problems.

  • Support and facilitate organizational change initiatives.

  • Implement own recommendations and drive projects through to completion.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency.

  • Problem solves where development of new solutions, methods, systems will result in a major impact on the company's success.

  • Organize, champion, and participate in meetings. Give/receive information several times per week.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
