Project Associate: MMG

The Project Associate position will support the operations of Montefiore Medical Group's nursing department, including but not limited to day-to-day operations of our 20 primary care locations and the newly developed Nurse Practitioner Fellowship program. The candidate will work directly with Department of Nursing leadership to facilitate coordination and implementation of strategic initiatives, conduct site visits, participate in and record meeting minutes, ensure timelines/targets are met, and provide calendar management. They will assist in the promotion and growth of the Nurse Practitioner Fellowship program, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the department's management team to set performance goals, analyze team and project performance, document and monitor workflows, and identify ways to increase team efficiency/service levels

* Program planning and development

* Coordinate recruitment interviews and candidate selection

* Assists with onboarding process, orientations, and evaluation of fellows

* Calendar management

* Recording and distribution of meeting minutes

* Assist in development of policies, procedure, and workflows

* Inventory management

* Act as a facilitator in quality assurance of the department's responsibilities

* Facilitate the creation, implementation, and revision of workflows

* Candidate must possess project management and healthcare experience

* Candidate must be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills and a heightened attention to detail.

* Multi-tasking is a key component of role expectations

Requirements:

* 3 years of healthcare experience required

* Experience in project management

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

HOURS: Monday-Friday 830A - 530P

Education: Bachelor's degree in Science/Business

Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.
