Join our collegial group of Faculty at Northside's GME Program

* Northside offers the following ACGME approved postgraduate programs: Internal Medicine - Preliminary Year, Categorical Positions Family Medicine - Categorical Positions, Transitional Year Program as well as a Sports Medicine Fellowship

* Northside has a large group of core faculty consisting of Doctors of Osteopathic and Allopathic Medicine dedicated to ensure our residents and fellows have the highest quality clinical experience and medical training during their time in our programs

* Great schedule with Monday through Friday 7:30A-5:00P with phone call only. Northside has two Family Medicine Clinics, in Lawrenceville and Duluth.

    • MD or DO degree - Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine
    • Licensed and eligible to practice in Georgia
    • Teaching Experiecne
    • Unrestricted DEA Registration
    • Membership in good standing on the Gwinnett Hospital System Medical Staff
  • For Family Medicine OB Faculty Position
    • MD or DO degree
    • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine
    • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    • Licensed and eligible to practice in Georgia
    • Teaching Experiecne
    • Unrestricted DEA Registration
    • Membership in good standing on the Gwinnett Hospital System Medical Staff

  • PREFERRED:

    • For the Family Medicine Faculty Position
      • 5 years of teaching experience and experience in graduate medical education administration
      • 2 years' experience in primary care sports medicine fellowship and family medicine education
      • Previous administrative role in a family medicine residency program and/or sports medicine fellowship program.
      • Proven participation contributing to a sports medicine fellowship program
      • Participation in American Medical Society for Sports Medicine activities
      • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care
      • Advanced knowledge of clinical ultrasound use in musculoskeletal medicine and experience in procedural training for fellows and residents.
    • For the Family Medicine OB Faculty Position
      • 5 years of teaching experience and experience in graduate medical education administration
      • 2 years' experience in family medicine education
      • Previous administrative role in a family medicine residency program
      • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care
      • Advanced knowledge of clinical ultrasound use in musculoskeletal medicine and experience in procedural training for fellows and residents
