Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hematologist/Oncologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. To maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. New York City Mayor Bill deBlasio announced he will be bringing "universal health care" to America's biggest city through a program called NYC Care. The city will connect hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who are ineligible for health insurance - including undocumented New Yorkers and those who cannot afford insurance - to reliable care. Anyone will be able to access comprehensive care across NYC Health + Hospitals' more than 70+ locations once the program is fully ramped up. NYC Care will provide a Primary Care doctor and access to specialty care, prescription drugs, mental health services, hospitalization and more. Responsibilities We are seeking a specialized candidate for the role of Hematologist/Oncologist. This is a NYC Care position. Duties include:
Consult with patients with hematological disorders
Additionally, the Hematologist/Oncologist must be a good listener, who is attentive to the concerns of patients, an excellent communicator and proficient in hematological procedures. The Hematologist/Oncologist will serve several purposes, including:

Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $300,000 based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $425,520, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
