JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology seeks to hire a part-time marketing and communications coordinator to provide support and assistance in development, design, creation and troubleshooting of the department's website and social media. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Manage the department's social media platforms and web content * Serve as the department's photographer (if needed) * Coordinate with the ECoS Communications Office to provide department information for communications materials * Meet with faculty, staff, and student members of the department to create fresh and engaging content for the department's website * Serve as liaison to university news outlets (e.g. Penn State Today, Research Penn State Magazine, etc.) to showcase departmental news and research accomplishments Education and Experience: Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
