USC's School of Cinematic Arts Office of Student Services is seeking a Student Services Advisor to join our team. This position will provide academic advising to undergraduate students majoring in Cinema and Media Studies or enrolled in an SCA minor program of study. In their advising role, the Student Services Advisor I is committed to the overall success of their assigned undergraduate students. The Student Services Advisor helps students understand degree and minor requirements; develop, cultivate, and transform academic goals and educational plans; understand academic policies and procedures; select majors and minors; explore curricular and co-curricular opportunities (i.e., research, study abroad, service learning, etc.); integrate career development opportunities, address concerns and challenges that impact academic success; and connect with university resources. Additionally, the Student Services Advisor will provide support for the Office of Students Services in disseminating information to our student body, events and programming, petitions and forms, and various academic and developmental initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education The hourly range for this position is $28.43 - $31.92.
