Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or other relevant field; completion of a field school. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Ability to collect field data and accurately record findings. * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. * Knowledge of mapping principles and techniques. * Ability to read and interpret topographic maps and aerial photographs. * Ability to utilize geographic survey instruments. * Knowledge of general excavation, techniques, tools, and equipment. * Knowledge of archeological field and/or laboratory procedures and techniques. * Backpacking experience and primitive camping skills may be required for some projects.
